چکیده
Background: Omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFAs), such as eicosapentaenoic (EPA) and docosahexaenoic (DHA) acids, have beneficial effects on human health, but their effect gene expression in elderly individuals (age ≥ 65) is largely unknown. In order to examine this, the profiles were analyzed healthy subjects (n = 96) at baseline after 26 weeks of supplementation with EPA+DHA determine up-regulated down-regulated dif-ferentially expressed genes (DEGs) triggered by PUFAs. The protein-protein interaction (PPI) networks constructed mapping these DEGs a interactome linking them specific pathways. Objective: This study aimed implement supervised machine learning models network analysis induced Methods: transcriptional profile GSE12375 was obtained from Gene Expression Om-nibus database, which based Affymetrix NuGO array. probe cell intensity data converted into values, background correction performed multi-array average algorithm. LIMMA (Linear Models for Microarray Data) algo-rithm implemented identify relevant supplemen-tation p-value < 0.05. DAVID web server used construct en-riched KEGG (Kyoto Encyclopedia Genes Genomes) Finally, construction (ML) models, including logistic regression, naïve Bayes, deep neural networks, associated Results: results revealed that neurotrophin/MAPK signaling, whereas linked cancer, acute myeloid leukemia, long-term depression Additionally, ML approaches able cluster EPA/DHA-treated control groups regression performing best. Conclusion: Overall, this highlights pivotal changes PUFAs provides rationale implementation algorithms predictive type biomedical data.

Evaluation of the Relationship between Endometriosis and Omega-3 and Omega-6 Polyunsaturated Fatty Acids
Background: Endometriosis is a common chronic inflammation causing major problems including infertility. The role of omega-3 and omega-6 fatty acids as their potential anti-inflammatory effects in endometriosis needs to be further explored. The objective of this study was to compare serum phospholipid fatty acid profile in endometriosis patients with controls, and to explore the correlation of ...

Introduction: Gastric cancer is the fourth common cancer and the second leading cause of death from cancer worldwide. Omega fatty acids are a group of non-saturated fatty acids of long chains derive from linolenic, linoleic and oleic fatty acids. The current study aimed at examining the possible effects of oral administration of omega-3, -6 and -9 fatty acids on gastric cancer cell apoptosis in...

متن کاملProtein kinase inhibition by omega-3 fatty acids.
Recent data suggest that omega-3 fatty acids may be effective in epilepsy, cardiovascular disorders, arthritis, and as mood stabilizers for bipolar disorder; however, the mechanism of action of these compounds is unknown. Based on earlier studies implicating omega-3 fatty acids as inhibitors of protein kinase C activity in intact cells, we hypothesized that omega-3 fatty acids may act through d...
متن کاملEffects of dietary omega-3 polyunsaturated fatty acids on brain gene expression.
Polyunsaturated fatty acids (PUFA) are essential structural components of the central nervous system. Their role in controlling learning and memory has been well documented. A nutrigenomic approach with high-density microarrays was used to reveal brain gene-expression changes in response to different PUFA-enriched diets in rats. In aged rats fed throughout life with PUFA-enriched diets, genes w...
